A Therapist Who Understands

If you’re here, it’s because you’re tired of feeling stuck and overwhelmed by the same patterns, anxieties, or struggles that keep showing up in your life. Whether you’re struggling to communicate in your relationship, dealing with the weight of perfectionism, or trying to navigate a big life change, I can help.

I understand how hard it can be to break free from those cycles. I know how tough it is to feel disconnected, to feel like you’re carrying the weight of everything, or to wonder if things will ever change. But I also know that change is possible.

I approach therapy as a partnership, with you in the driver’s seat. My role is to guide, support, and challenge you in ways that foster growth and real transformation. We’ll explore the root causes of your struggles, help you understand how they impact your relationships and mental health, and work together to develop practical, sustainable tools to move forward.

I take an inclusive approach and understand that your unique experiences—whether shaped by your family, culture, or personal challenges—affect how you connect with others and view yourself. Therapy with me is about creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued.

If you’re ready to break free from the cycles holding you back, I’m here to help you turn the page and create the life and relationships you deserve.

About Me

There are days when it still feels surreal that I’m here, doing what I love. I’ve always been the friend that everyone turned to for help, and in hindsight, that instinct led me to a career and passion I never imagined would be so fulfilling. Deep down, I always knew I wanted to be a therapist, but I wasn’t sure exactly what path to take until a mandatory couples retreat my husband and I attended before one of his deployments with the Marine Corps. That was when it clicked for me—I was meant to become a Marriage and Family Therapist.

I earned my Master’s degree while we were stationed in Hawaii, then completed my internship and residency in Virginia. I had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds, which only deepened my love for this work. I realized that my true passion lies in relationships—not just the ones we have with others, but the relationship we have with ourselves. I believe the way we relate to ourselves is deeply connected to our personal systems, and I’m passionate about helping people understand and nurture that connection.

In 2020, I became a mother, and that experience opened my eyes to an entirely new world of growth, love, and change. Just a few short years later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I’m grateful to say I’m a survivor, and that journey taught me the profound importance of healing and being present.

I’m here because I believe in the power of transformation. My mission is to help you reach your fullest potential—not just as a talking point, but as a real, tangible outcome. I want to walk alongside you in your journey of growth, healing, and self-discovery. Together, we can break through the barriers holding you back and create a life that feels authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.
